Temperature: With a mean temperature for the month of 9.9C, this September close to my 9 year average of 9.7C. The warmest day was the 14th with 23.0C which is my Sept average maximum. My record maximum is 25C on the 23rd September 2008. Coldest temperature was -2.5C on the 4th. The coldest September temperature I've recorded is -3.1C in 12th September 2000 and the 6th Sept 2007. There were 5 days where the minimum temperature was at or below 0, my average is 3. September 2000 holds my record of 7 days where the minimum temperature was at or below 0. Sept 2002, 2003, 2006 & 2008 had just 1. Two days were recorded where the maximum temperature was less than 10C, my average is 3. There were 16 days where the temperature was at or over 15C, my September average is 15, there were 8 days where the temperature was at or above 20C, my average is 5. September 2006 holds my record with 10 days at or over 20C. I've only recorded 1 September day in 10 years at or over 25C, mentioned above.
