My June

Temperature:
The mean temperature for the month was 6.5C, slightly above my average of 6.4C. The warmest June I've recorded was 2004 with an average temperature of 8.3C, the coldest, 2006 with 4.9C.
The warmest day was the 19th with 16.9C, the minimum was -2.4C on the 14th. My coldest June temperature to date is -6.2C on 1st June 2002

Many June days were overcast and damp. This is reflected in the few frosts recorded and greater number of days where less than 10C was recorded.
There were just 6 days where the temperature was at or below 0, my average is 13. There were 14 days where the maximum temperature for the day was less than 10C, my average is 11. There was just 1 day where the temperature was at or above 15C where my average is 6.

The monthly wind run of 3750km is 124% of my June average of 3336km making this June the third windiest June I've recorded. The least windy to date was 2006 with 2840km. The windiest June was 2008 with 3917km. The highest gust was 58km/h from the south west on the 7th.

Rainfall:
June had 114.5mm of rain over 17 days, 182% of my 63mm June average, the 3rd wettest June I've recorded.  The wettest day was the 7th with 18mm. My wettest June day was 12th June 2006 with 56mm. The wettest June was also 2006 with 118.6mm, the driest, 2004 with 11.6mm.
