May 2010 My May Temperature: The mean temperature for the month was 9.9, the 3rd warmest May I've recorded, equal to 2003 and above my average of 9.1C. The warmest May I've recorded was 2007 with an average temperature of 11.6C. The warmest day was the 13th with 23.9C, the minimum was 0.7C on the 5th. This was the 3rd May where I have not recorded an air frost (0C or below) the others being 2004 and 2007.  My coldest May temperature to date is -6.2C on 31st May 2001 There were 5 days where the maximum temperature for the day was less than 10C, my average is 3. There were 10 days where the temperature was at or above 15C which equals my May average and 1 day where the temperature was at or above 20C, my average is 3. Wind: (Records from 2001) The monthly wind run of 4268km is 110% of my May average of 3866km making this May the third windiest May I've recorded. The least windy to date was 2003 with 3185km. The windiest May was 2009 with 5291km. The highest gust was 54km/h from the south south west on the 26th. Rainfall: May had 160.5mm of rain over 11 days, 203% of my 79mm May average, the 3rd wettest May I've recorded.  I had not recorded any rain in the first 14 days of the month. The wettest day was the 26th with 57mm. My wettest May day was 12th May 2006 with 74.6mm. The wettest May was 2009 with 192.8mm, the driest, 2007 with 21.2mm.
