My February

Temperature:
Summer seemed to arrive late in the month with the 22nd, 23rd  & 24th recoding over 30C but with the mean temperature of 16.8C, this February was the warmest since Feb 2006 which also had 16.8C. The warmest Feb I've recorded was 2005 with an average temperature of 17.9C.
No daily maximums 15C or less were recorded. The warmest day was the 23rd with 31.5C. My record maximum is 36.1C on the 9th February 2009. My coldest February temperature to date is 3.4C on 1st Feb 2001

There were 19 days where the temperature was at or above 20C, my average is 18. There were 7 days at or over 25C, my average is 6 and there were 3 days at or over 30C where my average is 2.

Wind: (Records from 2001)
The monthly wind run of 4009km is 77% of my February average of 5174km making this February the second least windy by a very small margin to the 4002km recorded in Feb 2007. The highest gust was 61km/h from the south south west on the 13th. The windiest Feb was 2002 with 6148km.

Rainfall:
February had 21mm of rain over 8 days, 44% of my 48mm February average. The wettest day was the 18th with 10.5mm.
My driest Feb was 2001 with 5.5mm.
