My April

Temperature: With a mean temperature of 12.4C, this was the second warmest April I've recorded. Warmest day was the 1st with 26.3C, the coldest temperature was 0.1C with a possible ground frost on the 20th. The warmest April I've recorded was 2006 with 13.8C, the coolest was 2002 with a mean temperature of 9.5C.

Wind: The monthly wind run of 3406km is below the April average of 3961km and is the second lowest I've recorded for April with records from 2001. Prevailing wind direction was north east recorded 53% of the month, south 28%, north 10%, south west 4%, south east 2%, north west 2%. The windiest April I've recorded is 2005 with a 4696km wind run and the least was April 2007 with 3039km.

Rainfall: With 9 rain days and 33.6mm, this was the second driest April I've recorded, the driest being 2001 with 4.5mm. Average number of rain days for the past 9 years in April is 10 with a average rainfall of 61mm. The wettest April was 2002 with 121.3mm also with 9 rain days.
