My February

Temperature: This February was the third warmest I've recorded. The coldest temperature was 8.7C in the 6th. The coldest February temperature I've recorded was 3.4C on the 1st February 2001. The average temperature was 16.6C, the third highest average I've recorded and above my February average of 15.8C. The warmest February was 2005 with an average of 17.9C, the coolest was 2002 with 13.0C. On the 16th, I recorded my second coldest February midday temperature of 9.1C. My coldest midday temperature for February with a chilly 8.2C was in 2002. February had 2 days at or over 30C which it shares with 2003 and 2001 while currently holds my record with 3 days at or over 30C.

Wind: The monthly wind run was 5397 km, my February average is 5226km (records from 2001). The windiest February was 2002 with 6748km and the least windy 2007 with 4001km. Maximum gust was 56km/h from the south. Prevailing wind direction was north east recorded 56% of the month, south 26%, south west 5%, south east and north 4%, east and nor'west 2% and west 1%.

Rainfall: This February was the wettest I've recorded with 110.4mm, with 41.6mm falling on the 15th, my second highest 1 day total for February, the highest being 43mm on 5th Feb 2002. My average February rainfall is 46.1mm. The driest February I've recorded was 2001 with 5.5mm.
