My November

Temperature: With a mean temperature of 13.5C, this November was equal second warmest I've recorded with 2006. The warmest November I've recorded to date was 2004 with an average temperature of 14.1C. The warmest day was the 25th with 30.5C, the second warmest November day I've recorded to date, the warmest being 10 Nov 2005 with 31.0C Coldest temperature was 2.4C on the 9th. The coldest November temperature I've recorded is -1.2C on 5th Nov 2001 with a frost following a southerly.

Wind: The monthly wind run of 5028km is less than my November average of 5657km (records from 2001) and the least windy November I have records for. The windiest November (and the windiest month I've recorded to date) was 6972km in 2002. Prevailing wind direction was north east recorded 49% of the month, south 30%, north 7%, south west 6%, nor'west and west 4%. Maximum gust was 52km/h from the south west on the 13th.

Rainfall: With 27.4mm of rain, this November was a well below the average November rainfall of 61mm and the driest November I've recorded to date. The wettest November to date is 2002 with 143.6mm.

Barometer: The highest pressure for the month was recorded on the 19th with 1026.5 hPa, the lowest 989.5 hPa on the 13th. The mean pressure was 1013.6 hPa, the only other year I have barometer data for is 2006 where the mean pressure for November was 1005.0 hPa. (My November records go back to 2000.)
