My November

Temperature: With a mean temperature of 13.5C, this November was the second warmest I've recorded. The warmest November I've recorded was 2004 with an average temperature of 14.1C. The warmest day was the 29th with 29.1C, the second warmest November day I've recorded, the warmest being 10 Nov 2005 with 31.0C and light northerly winds. Coldest temperature was 0.2C on the 9th. The coldest November temperature I've recorded is -1.2C on 5th Nov 2001 with a frost following a southerly.

Wind: The monthly wind run of 5432km is less than my November average of 5762km (records from 2001). The windiest November (and the windiest month I've recorded to date) was 6972km in 2002. Prevailing wind direction was north east recorded 38% of the month, south 32%, north 14%, west 5%, south west 4%, nor'west 4%, east and south east 1%. Maximum gust was 56km/h from the nor'west on the 29th.

Rainfall: With 71.8mm of rain, this November was a little above the average November rainfall of 66mm. The driest November was 2005 with 29.6mm.

Barometer: The highest pressure for the month was recorded on the 2nd and 4th with 1023.5 hPa, the lowest 983.9 hPa on the 9th. No other November barometer records to compare this with.
