My April

Temperature: A mean temperature of 13.8C, the warmest April since I started recording temperature in 2000. Warmest day was the 21st with 26.1C. This April was the first I've recorded where the minimum temperature did not dip below 1C. A minimum of 4.9C was recorded on the 14th. The coolest April I've recorded was 2002 with a mean temperature of 9.5C.

Wind: The monthly wind run of 4307km makes April 2006. Mean wind run for April for the 5 Aprils I've recorded is 4160km. Prevailing wind direction was north east recorded 44% of the month, south 23% and north 15% The windiest April I've recorded is 2005 with 4696km of wind and the least was April 2004 with 3639km.

Rainfall: 80mm of rain fell on 10 days. Average number of rain days for the past 7 years in April is 10 with a average rainfall of 64mm. The driest April I've recorded was 2001 with 4 days of recorded rainfall and a monthly total of 4.5mm.

Barometer: The highest pressure for the month was recorded on the 14th with 1029.0hPa, the lowest 981.7hPa on the 7th. <
