December Weather Highlights:

Temperature: My December average was 16.8C, the warmest December I've recorded since starting my station in 2000. The next warmest December was 2003 and the coolest was 2004 with an average of a mere 12.7C. The maximum temperature was the 30th with 29.8C with a nor'west wind and the coolest was 10.1C on the 1st.

Rainfall: 11 days had recorded rainfall. At 32mm, this is about average for most of the December totals I've recorded. The wettest day was the 22nd with 7.4mm. The wettest December was 2004 with 137.8mm over 18 days with maximum daily total of 31.6mm.

Wind: With a monthly wind run of 5439km, it was a typical December. The windiest December was 2004 with a monthly wind run of 6940km.
