April Weather Highlights:
24th: A cold southerly change swept up the country causing hail damage in Christchurch and wind damage in Wellington along with snow to low levels. It was also the windiest day (wind run 407km) along with the lowest maximum temperature (7.2C) of the year at my station.

26th: First visible ground frost for the year, air temperature was 0.6C, the coldest for the month.
