I purchased a WX #175 weather kit from Peter Anderson. Since I'm only making one, I put the kit together on vero type strip board.

Below is my construction of the kit.

I did not use the solar cell for sunshine recording, testing showed little difference between sunny and cloudy days. I have no current plans for a sunshine recorder.

The pressure sensor will remain on the board but the humidity sensor will be mounted outside. I've used a switch to test the counter that will be connected to the rain gauge.

Other IO will be utilised for future additions but I've got no plans at present.

The kit has performed well since installing in in December 2005.
